CONSTRUCTION UPDATES AND PROPOSED DETOURS*

WEEK OF JULY 6, 2026 - Construction begins.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place, and a new single-lane traffic pattern will be in effect through the work zone. Reduced speed limits will be posted on State Road 64 and State Road 162 near the intersection.

JULY 30 - AUGUST 4, 2026 - Intersection Closure.

Beginning at 8:00 p.m. on July 30, the intersection will be closed to all traffic to allow crews to transition into the new roundabout configuration. The intersection will reopen at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4. See below for proposed detour information

AUGUST 4, 2026 - Roundabout Opens to Traffic.

Beginning at 8:00 a.m., the intersection will reopen with traffic flow pattern in roundabout configuration.

THROUGH OCTOBER 15, 2026

Construction will continue with periodic lane restrictions. Flaggers may be used to direct traffic as needed. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

*Construction schedules are dependent on weather conditions. Proposed detours and construction dates are subject to change.
